**Software Engineer Intern - Central Product Development****This Opportunity****We are seeking self-motivated and enthusiastic Software Engineer Interns to join the Central Product Development team.You will get to experience what it takes to be a Trimbler, we will provide the necessary training to be a great software engineer and will be positioned in one of our many teams to experience what it is like to work in agile software development teams.****As a Software Engineering Intern, you will help create new features, improve existing, and provide maintenance to one or more projects.Responsibilities can include, but are not limited to**:- **Developing and maintaining front-end and/or backend infrastructure and framework libraries**- **Developing new user-facing features and/or services by building clean, reusable components**- **Produce software that is unit tested and code reviewed**- **Follow our code review guidelines****Required Skills/Experience**:- **Actively studying BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or an equivalent degree**- **JavaScript/TypeScript experience**- **Experience with front-end technologies**- **Familiarity with git**- **Familiarity CI/CD best practices**- **Good knowledge of software design patterns and software engineering best practices**- **Experience with unit testing and mocking frameworks is a big plus**- **A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected**- **Ability to communicate effectively and work collaboratively**- **Good English verbal communications and organization skills****Additional Skills/Experience**:- **Experience with WebServices, REST API development, Python**- **Strong analytical, problem-solving, and logical reasoning skills**- **Familiarity with Scrum/Agile development environments****Job Location**- **Mexicali, BC, Mexico****About Trimble Mexico****Trimble is expanding in Mexico by setting up a world-class software research & development center to accelerate the delivery of products and services worldwide.Become one of the pioneers that helps set the bar of excellence and culture that will shape our future.****About Trimble, our parent company****Trimble is transforming the way the world works by delivering products and services that connect the physical and digital worlds.Our core technologies in spatial positioning, modeling, connectivity and data analytics enable customers to improve productivity, quality, safety, and sustainability in design, architecture, and construction.****_Trimble is proud to be an Equal Opportunity and Affirmative Action Employer and considers qualified applicants for employment without regard to race, gender, age, color, religion, national origin, marital status, disability, sexual orientation, status as a covered veteran in accordance with applicable federal, state and local laws, or any other protected factor.EOE/M/F/V/D_
