alboalbo is a leading fintech company offering financial products to individuals and SMB's with the mission to bring financial freedom to everyone everywhere.Job descriptionAs a member of our Accounting team, you will participate in a wide range of accounting activities, including month-end journal entries, bank reconciliations, detailed reconciliations of balance sheet accounts, as well as assisting in the preparation and execution of month-end schedules and financial reports.What you'll be doing at albo:- Monthly accounting record of expenses, reclassifications, daily income record to know the financial situation of the company.- Monthly bank account reconciliations.- Monitor Balance Sheet and P&L accounts with appropriate records in order to provide reconciled balances.- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly and annual reports for all team financial metrics.- Intercompany review and communication to reconcile balances.- Billing of intercompany services, fixed assets, commissions and interests.- Electronic invoicing.- Preparation of working papers for monthly and annual tax returns.- Auxiliary reports for internal and external audit.About you and what type of skills you'll need:- 3 years of experience in a similar position.- Public Accounting Degree.- Knowledge of Excel and other MS tools.- Knowledge of accounting programs / ERP (Oracle Cloud preferably)- Excellent time management and organizational skills.- Proactive and focused on results.- Constant communication with the areas.- Previous experience in Big4 or consultancy firms is a plus.- Hands on: You are energized by rolling up your sleeves and making things happen.- Done is better than perfect: As things change and move quickly, you are excited by the fast pace, and opportunity to constantly learn.- Communication: Excellent ability to communicate internally and externally, ability to quickly build relationships, and work well cross-functionally.- Extreme ownership: You hold yourself accountable to a high bar.You are supremely organized and you see what needs to happen in order to achieve goals.
