Hiring: Fullstack Technical Lead (Java Developer)

Work Model: Hybrid – 3 days in the office and 2 days working from home

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Fullstack Technical Lead / Java Developer to design, develop, enhance, and support modern, scalable, cloud-native applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in Java, Spring Boot, microservices architecture, and REST API development, along with experience delivering high-quality software in an Agile environment.

In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver secure, reliable, and scalable technology solutions, contribute to engineering best practices, and support critical banking and client lifecycle technology capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable applications using Java and Spring Boot.
• Build, enhance, and support microservices and RESTful APIs.
• Contribute to full-stack application development, including responsive user interfaces using ReactJS.
• Collaborate with architects, product owners, business analysts, and engineering teams to deliver business-aligned solutions.
• Write clean, maintainable, secure, and production-ready code.
• Participate in code reviews and promote engineering standards and best practices.
• Actively participate in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, testing, and release activities.
• Troubleshoot application issues, support incident resolution, and contribute to production stability.
• Identify opportunities to improve application performance, code quality, and development processes.
• Provide technical guidance and collaborate with team members to ensure successful delivery.

Mandatory Technical Skills

• Strong hands-on experience with Java.
• Spring Boot and microservices architecture.
• REST API design, development, and integration.

Full-Stack Development

• Working knowledge of HTML5 and CSS3.

Agile Delivery

• Practical experience working in Agile/Scrum teams.
• Familiarity with sprint planning, estimation, code reviews, and release processes.

Soft Skills

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective collaboration and teamwork.
• Ability to engage with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proactive mindset, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Good to Have

• Experience with Hibernate/JPA and relational databases such as PostgreSQL.
• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
• Experience with Git, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, and CI/CD automation.
• Familiarity with unit testing and integration testing using JUnit and Mockito.
• Exposure to Kafka, event-driven architecture, OAuth2, and OpenID Connect.
• Experience in financial services, banking technology, client onboarding, KYC, AML, or customer lifecycle management.

Work Arrangement

This position follows a hybrid working model, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely.
