Quality Control Inspector

**Description**:Hey, we're Article.We're a digital-first furniture brand that's working to make everyday living better by providing an easy way for people to furnish their space.We don't have brick-and-mortar stores, so we're able to deliver better value on beautiful modern furniture.We've been rapidly growing for the past several years, and we're now on the hunt for talented, enthusiastic team members to join us as we expand our operations in **Monterrey, Mexico.**We're looking for a **Quality Control Inspector** to monitor the quality aspects of incoming raw materials to the organization and the products that are ready to be shipped.You will also ensure that manufactured products meet the specified quality standards set by Article before being sent to our customers.As a Quality Control Inspector, you will analyze measurements, conduct tests, and monitor the production phase.You will sort out the items that fail to meet the quality standards and enhance the production process to reduce the chances of failure.**What You'll Do**:- Carry out quality assessment measures of all the products ready to be shipped and incoming raw materials as well as the in process material.- Take a thorough look at the plans, specifications, and blueprints to understand the product requirements- Reject all the incoming raw materials that fail to meet quality expectations and report the issue to the concerned department at the earliest and request and do the follow up to the actions.- Resolving quality-related issues adhering to deadlines- Prepare documentation of the inspection process, which includes detailed reports and performance records- Recommend improvement measures to the production process to ensure quality control standards are met- Guide the production team about the quality control issues to enhance the quality of the product- Monitor the production phase at various levels**Skills, Knowledge and Expertise**:- 2+ years of experience as a quality inspector in a similar industry- Bachelor's degree in engineering is preferred but not required- Excellent documentation, reporting and presentation skills- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft office- Profound knowledge of quality control standards**Benefits**:**We want Article to be an amazing place to work, beyond competitive compensation, we provide**:- A team-oriented work environment.Article is lucky to employ a wide range of experts, and seeks to facilitate a culture of mentorship and curiosity.We take on the job learning seriously, and we have a lot of fun doing it.- Reimbursements for work equipment to easily collaborate while being remote- Be a part of a fast-growing company and an internationally recognized brand as we expand our operations into Mexico.INDARTICLESCNEWLOCATIONLI-Remote**About Article**:**Article is the easiest way to create a beautiful modern space.**Article started with a desire to improve efficiency and make furniture less expensive for everyone.In **** we had 4 employees; now we have over **** and have been growing rapidly.Our head office is based in Vancouver, Canada, an office in Ho Chi Minh City, and warehouses in Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Jacksonville, Austin, Dallas, Portland, Houston, Charlotte, Miami, Chicago, Nashville, Denver, Baltimore, Toronto, Boston, and New Jersey.
