Under the guidance and supervision of the Payroll Supervisor, Payroll Analyst II will oversee and process the organization's payroll functions by pay group in coordination with an external payroll provider, ensuring the assigned pay groups are processed on time, accurately and in compliance with government regulations.This position will also serve as back-up to any of the payrolls should the LATAM HR Generalist and Payroll Supervisor be unable to process their payroll group (s).Responsibilities also include the management of the PTO (paid time off), OT and any other payroll element required by the LATAM Payroll Supervisor.In addition, the Payroll Analyst II will be responsible for Mexico HR and Facilities Payments.**Areas of Expertise & Special Skills**:- 3+ years of full cycle Payroll experience, with 1+ years previous experience with software preferred.- Strong knowledge of Payroll Processing in a large company.- LATAM payroll experience preferred (Colombia is a plus).- Full knowledge of statutory benefits in Mexico required.- customer service-oriented with a willingness to address employees' inquiries.- Strong service orientation and an ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with peers, office and management.- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, especially Pivot Tables and VLOOKUP.- Strong oral and written communication skills english and Spanish.- Ability to work independently.- Ability to manage multiple priorities and adjust to changing priorities in a professional manner- Strong organizational skills.- Ability to prioritize multiple projects to assignments.**Responsibilities**- Collect, review, and validate payroll data (e.g., incidences, absences, overtime, bonuses, etc.).- Prepare and submit payroll information to the external provider for processing.- Support compliance with local labor, tax, and social security regulations in Mexico and Colombia.- Assist employees with payroll-related questions and provide timely resolutions.- Maintain accurate payroll records and documentation for audits.- Support Payroll Supervisor on Mexico payroll processes.- Liaison with HR Partner in Colombia in payroll matters.- Proactively identify opportunities to improve operational processes and enhancements related to payroll.- Lead payments to vendors for the Facilities Team in Mexico.Includes requesting and tracking payments with the AP Team.- Lead payments to vendors for the HR and Recruitment Team in Mexico.Includes requesting and tracking payments with the AP Team.**Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions, offers a competitive salary and generous benefits package including the following**:- Hired directly by Toshiba and 100% under payroll.- Benefits of the law (IMSS, INFONAVIT).- Life insurance, major medical expenses with dental and visual coverage.(For the employee and direct family members).- Minor medical expenses insurance.- Savings fund for employees, capped at the limit of the law.- Grocery coupons.- Pension plan.- 30 Christmas bonus days.- 12 days of vacation plus 6 floating days.**EO**:Toshiba Global Commerce Solutions is an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer that evaluates qualified applicants without regard to age, ancestry, color, religious creed, disability, marital status, medical condition, genetic information, military or veteran status, national origin, race, sex, gender, gender identity, gender expression and sexual orientation or any other protected factor.We also consider qualified applicants regardless of criminal histories, consistent with legal requirements.
