Accountant – Lighthouse Storage Lighthouse Storage is seeking a dedicated and proactive Accountant to join our growing team. This full‑time role requires someone who is not only experienced in accounting but also takes initiative and works efficiently to meet deadlines. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to grow within the company, potentially advancing to a CFO position as we expand our operations across different sectors. Responsibilities Manage and oversee daily accounting operations. Prepare financial reports and ensure timely month‑end and year‑end close processes. Reconcile accounts and maintain accurate financial records. Implement and improve accounting systems and processes. Utilize ERP software to manage company finances. Collaborate with the team to ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards. Support strategic planning and budgeting processes. Qualifications +5 years of experience as an assistant controller. Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field. Experience with ERP systems. Strong initiative and ability to work independently.Excellent time management skills and ability to meet tight deadlines. Ability to provide own computer for work. Nice to Haves Experience in the self‑storage, apartment, or development industries. Familiarity with accounting assessments, particularly in AR and AP. Additional Information The role offers significant growth potential, with the Heavy excerpt to ad my risk; pursuing my iron plan to move to the CFO position.
