We are looking for a Mid-Senior Visual and Creative Designer to join our Xiaomi LATAM marketing team in Mexico City, with 5+ years of work experience. As part of the team, you will work closely with and report directly to the Xiaomi LATAM Marketing Director, creating high-quality graphic and video assets for new product launches and brand campaigns. This role supports regional marketing design needs and provides design support for selected local markets, ensuring brand consistency across countries. You will collaborate with internal teams and coordinate with external agencies to ensure smooth execution and high-quality output. The ideal candidate has a strong graphic design background, a good understanding of marketing strategy, and several years of experience in advertising agencies, with familiarity in both client-side expectations and agency workflows.What You’ll Do: Support regional marketing initiatives and selected local markets across LATAM. Design core visual materials for the product launches and brand campaigns, including but not limited to graphics and video content, websites, presentations, and launch event materials, from concept development to final execution. Provide day-to-day localization support by adapting global English marketing assets into Spanish versions, and consolidating and delivering finalized materials to local markets across LATAM. Work closely with the marketing team and external agencies, coordinate and review deliverables to ensure quality and alignment with brand standards. Maintain strong brand consistency across all assets and ensure high-quality execution. Stay updated on design trends and cultural nuances relevant to the LATAM markets.RequirementsAbove 5-7 years of work experience in a key contributor role in visual communication, graphic design, brand experience design, advertising or related fields. Should be able to develop solid creative concepts for campaigns, be a hands-on designer with strong execution skills, be able to translate ideas into high-quality, tangible design outputs and take projects from concept to final delivery with reliability and precision. Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, After Effects, Premiere Pro), Figma, and/or other relevant design tools, with a strong understanding of typography, layout, and visual composition. Experience in video/animation editing and video production process, print production processes for materials is necessary. Be meticulous with design details and have a strong sense of aesthetics. A proactive and problem-solving mindset when faced with challenges. Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, be flexible to adapt to a fast-changing environment and project needs. Ability to communicate effectively and collaborate with internal and external teams. Fluency in English (main working language) and proficiency in Spanish (understanding of LATAM culture is required). Familiarity with event design is a plus. Having experience in the smart device industry or tech industry is a plus.
