Project Manager LogisticsWe are seeking an experienced and skilled Project Manager Logistics to collaborate with clients to understand their unique logistics needs and develop comprehensive project logistics plans.ResponsibilitiesOversee the planning, coordination and execution of logistics projects to ensure the efficient movement of goods through the supply chain.Manage project timelines and budgets, coordinate transportation and warehousing, mitigate risks and collaborate with internal and external teams (buyers, carriers, supply chain project managers and clients).Lead project management from initiation to completion, defining objectives, scope and deliverables.Coordinate project schedules and lead forecasting meetings to ensure timely progress.Plan and manage the movement of goods including selecting transportation methods, optimizing routes and overseeing shipments.Manage inventory tracking for consolidating goods at warehouses, and ensure activities such as packing, crating and in-out records are maintained.Manage project budgets, identify, track and mitigate risks and issues.Work with various teams (e.G., supply chain managers, procurement, project PM, quality) and stakeholders to gather requirements, align priorities and ensure smooth communication.Use data analysis to guide decisions, monitor performance against KPIs and generate reports.Ensure all transportation activities comply with relevant regulations and secure necessary permits.What You BringSolid knowledge of logistics operational processes, tools, applications and execution, especially break-bulk cargo and bidding Project Logistics.Experience with analysis, ERP systems and reporting.Good comprehension of Incoterms and application; customs compliance and knowledge of import/export processes.Understanding of logistics operations worldwide, trade tariffs, break-bulk loads and ocean freight terminology.Analytical mindset and ability to communicate with various teams and stakeholders globally.Bachelor's degree in supply chain or a related field.At least 3 years proven experience managing project logistics.Effective communication with excellent stakeholder management experience.Results-oriented mindset with a passion for operational improvement and customer focus.As an equal opportunity employer FLSmidth embraces diversity and equality by promoting an environment of inclusion.We encourage applicants of all backgrounds and perspectives to apply – the more diverse our employees are the stronger our team.Our commitment to equal opportunity and eliminating bias means we kindly request that you exclude personal information such as age, ethnicity, marital status, number of children and photographs from your application materials.Key Skills: Shipping & Receiving, Inventory Control, Data Entry, AS400, Transportation Management Systems, EDI, Microsoft Outlook, Warehouse Experience, Office Experience, Dispatching, Microsoft Excel, Logistics.Employment Type: Full-TimeExperience: 3 yearsVacancy: 1#J-*****-Ljbffr
