As the global leader in eye care, Alcon has built a rich history of providing innovative products to customers and patients all over the world.We're extremely proud of our legacy and the significant way we've helped to shape the industry over the last 70 years, but we're just getting started.Our relentless passion to eliminate unmet medical needs drives our pursuit to further advance eye health worldwide.We're looking for exceptionally talented, driven people who want to make a difference.If you'd like to help us change the way the world sees, this is your chance to Be BrilliantWe are currently hiring a R2R Specialist to join our team in Mexico City.Key Responsibilites:- Perform accurate journal entries in a timely manner, payroll, expense provisions, Legal Docket provision, Audit fees, travel & expense, prepaid and other records that affect GL.- Configure and execute allocations process to distribute expenses to the corresponding cost centers.- Configure, execute and evaluate the foreign exchange process to ensure a correct revaluation of foreign currency balances.- Run Accrual Engine, Exchange rate, Debit Credit process.- Prepare accurate and robust monthly balance sheet account analysis, including analysis for balance sheet reviews.- Control and monitoring of old items in the balance sheets, as well as the cleaning and compensation of the items that make up the balances.- Correct all records with incorrect functional areas.- Collaborate proactively with key stakeholders, including Finance colleagues and Regional Financial Reporting and Accounting.Communication with these stakeholders is appropriate and timely when questions regarding accounting/reporting matters arise.- Promote a strong control environment and follow up on audit issues and implement correcting measures)Key Requirements/Minimum Requirements:- Undergraduate degree in Accounting and/or Finance required- The ability to fluently read, write, understand and communicate in English- 3+ years of accounting experience - public and industry preferred- ERP knowledge (SAP)- Microsoft Office skills (Excel, Word, Powerpoint)- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, detail oriented, organized and experience managing data bases- Experience working with shared services preferredPreferred Qualifications/Skills:- Teamwork,- Leadership skills- Organization and effective communication skillsKINDLEY SUBMIT RESUME IN ENGLISH
