About 99 minutosThe Fastest Shipping for Online Shopping99minutos is a Mexican start-up that currently operates within 40 major markets across Mexico, Chile, Colombia, and Peru and offers four services: less than 99 minutes delivery, same-day delivery, next-day delivery, and CO2-free delivery.We are quickly becoming one of the biggest last-mile delivery services for other e-commerce companies, and we are working on conquering Latin America99 minutos is widely considered to be part of the Soonicorn Club (fast growing companies that are on track to become unicorns, at a US$1 billion valuation).About The TeamThe Strategic Finance area is within the Finance department, and its main objective is to drive company's growth through financial discipline, in-depth financial and strategic analysis.The challenge includes the responsibility of providing key insights to internal and external stakeholders via historical financial and operational analysis, ownership of the company's financial model (budgeting and projections) and other ad-hoc analysis (e.g. local and international expansion, cost control, capital budgeting).About The ChallengeLead and support financial planning processes (monthly, quarterly, and annual reports, and business reviews)Focus on analyzing and optimizing operational and non-operational costs that lead to actionable insightsWork together with our operations and tech team for the analysis and selection of suppliers, vendors, and subcontractorsContinue to develop and evolve tools and financial processesSupport the monthly/quarterly management reporting process for top management and investorsBuild and own financial forecast modelsProvide an understanding of the impact of different factors on the overall P&LShort-, medium- and long-term costs/expenses savings proposalsAd hoc Operational and Commercial projectsSupport the decision process of opening new business verticals and geographiesThe RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or Economics.Minimum 2 years of experience in Finance roles, Business Consulting, or Financial ModelingRobust analytical & modeling skillsAdvanced Excel and PowerPoint level is a must (Power Query, Power Pivot and Power BI is a plus)Fluent EnglishPrevious experience at a startup or logistics company is a plus.**You will fit at 99minutos if**:You are results oriented and data drivenYou are a self-starter and proactiveYou can work well with mínimal supervisionYou can thrive when you must multitask under tight deadlinesYou have high attention to detail and deep curiosity for understanding the root cause of thingsYou are team player within a cross-functional contextYou are open to learn and are interested in understanding finance, logistics, and technology in Latin America
