Expansion Program Manager, Amazon Logistics (AMZL) Description At Amazon, we're working to be the most customer‑centric company on earth. In this role, you’ll translate business needs into actionable projects with clear expectations and metrics, engage and follow up with support teams to execute projects, and partner with Operations to align expectations, confirm project status, anticipate potential risks, and drive strategic decisions to ensure project success. Job Specifics Availability to work Monday to Friday on a 5‑day schedule. This is not a remote position; attendance on site is required. Key job responsibilities Own and develop the project management and change management program for investment projects. Support project owners and support teams throughout their project lifetime from conception, feasibility, project planning and execution. Communicate with project owners and engage with various stakeholder teams to ensure positive and effective collaboration. Drive projects to improve, expand and standardize MX operations based on business objectives. Develop and enforce a culture of continuous improvement. Drive end‑to‑end process excellence, anticipate risks and communicate effectively to leaders through formal reports, business papers and risk analysis best practices. A day in the life The role is similar to the earlier description: translate business needs into actionable projects, coordinate with execution teams, follow up with operations, drive discussions for leadership decisions, work on continuous improvement initiatives, maintain hands‑on approach to ensure project targets. About The Team Amazon Mexico Expansion ensures Logistics requirements are translated into actionable projects with clear expectations aligned with business goals. The team closely follows the end‑to‑end project life‑cycle to anticipate risks, remove obstacles, and ensure cost, time and quality. It works closely with Operations and stakeholders to remove compliance or safety risks in operating facilities and thrives on anticipating needs and risks. Basic Qualifications Bachelor’s degree. 5+ years of working cross‑functionally with tech and non‑tech teams. 3+ years of program or project management experience. Advanced Excel (Pivot Tables, VLookups) and SQL skills. Fluent in English writing, speaking and reading. Experience leading large, cross‑functional projects. Preferred Qualifications Experience managing multiple stakeholders at varied levels. Experience building processes, project management, and schedules. PMP certification.
