**Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer**:Product Development (PD)CSAP - Cuautitlan Stamping and Assembly Plant**Detalles del empleo**WHO WE ARE:Ford Motor Company was built on the belief that freedom of movement drives human progress.It's a belief that has always fueled our passion to create great cars and trucks.And today, it drives our commitment to become the world's most trusted mobility company, designing vehicles or a smart world that help people move more safely, confidently and freely.To do this, we are investing in technology, and businesses focusing on micro-transit, commercial solutions for fleet customers, enhancing the vehicle ownership experience and developing the Transportation Mobility Cloud, which will host mobility-related solutions.THE ROLE:Plant Vehicle Team (PVT) Engineer is a member of Ford Motor Company's Product Development organization, The PVT Engineer is the 'first line of defense' with regards to Quality products produced at the VOME Plant.The PVT Engineer has several responsibilities associated with analyzing and improving the Quality of the vehicles.- Review incoming warranty claims data on a daily basis, review customer and dealership comments, bin claims into proper binning categories, contact dealership/s for parts and repair diagnoses, participate in customer call back to ensure proper understanding of customer feedback, review returned parts for root cause analyses and develop Interim Containment and Permanent Corrective Actions.- Support assembly plant with Stop Ships/Stop Builds, Campaigns, Audits, Root Cause Analysis and other Quality related tasks.- Lead engineering commodity changes for future minor product launches and lead cost reduction actions in current production vehicles.- Support Variability Reduction Team (VRT) for specific sub-systems and work closely with Supplier partners for subsystem components to address quality concerns- Lead engineering trials and the implementation of running changes for the sub-system- Issue engineering Alerts and initiate and/or pursue authorization of engineering Concerns for product changes to support Quality objectives- Engage technical experts and functional team members for driving resolution and in developing corrective actions to improve product Quality- Maintain sub-system or Vehicle Functional Group (VFG) level Quality documents (SAQ, Top 20 concerns)- Make presentations to various levels of upper management (weekly VRT report out, Vehicle Quality Reviews, Engineering Managers reviews)WHAT YOU'LL NEED:- Bachelor of Science in Engineering, BSME Preferred- Ford warranty systems knowledge of ECB, BSAQ, GSAR preferred- Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills- Demonstrated Technical Problem Solving Skills- Ability to establish a systems engineering approach to solving problems- Excellent presentation skills with a strong ability to understand all aspects of a powertrain program in order to speak intelligently when representing the entire program and the teams involved in the designing the entire system- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Tools for documentation and presentationCOMPANY DESCRIPTION:DISCLAIMER:Ford Motor Company is an Equal Opportunity Employer, as we are committed with a diverse workforce, and do not discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment because of race, color, sex, age, national origin, religion, sexual orientation, gender identity and/or expression, status as a veteran and basis of disability.**Id.de solicitud asignado automáticamente*******BR**Nível Idioma Inglés**Avanzado**Disponibilidad para viajar**SI**Rotación de turnos**No**Frecuencia de viajes**1-2 por mes**Tipo de Contratación**GSR
