Determined.Imaginative.Curious.If these are some of the ways you describe yourself — we want to learn more about youAt TC Energy, we are Energy Problem Solvers — passionate about transitioning North America to cleaner energy while meeting the energy demands of today and tomorrow.If that sounds like a challenge you want to help tackle, we want you to join our teamKey Responsibilities:- Legal advice on complex matters, including drafting, reviewing, and negotiating contracts, financial, commercial and business development.- Assist in the legal structuring of financing projects, including risk analysis, regulatory compliance, and contractual documentation.- Collaborate with internal teams to identify legal risks and propose practical solutions aligned with business objectives.- Support the Legal team in Mexico on cross-functional initiatives.- Monitor relevant regulatory and legislative changes that may impact the company's operations.- Qualifications:- Law degree; license to practice law in Mexico.- Minimum of 8 years of experience in commercial and financial law, preferably in the energy sector.- Strong knowledge of commercial contracts, financing structures, and applicable regulations.- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal).- Fluency in both English and Spanish.Key Competencies:- Strong analytical skills and strategic thinking.- Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities.- Clear and professional communication in Spanish and English.- Collaborative mindset and willingness to work as part of a team.- Proactive, results-oriented, and committed to continuous improvement.- Integrity, reliability, and discretion are critical.About our businessTC Energy is a leading energy infrastructure company in North America.We have complementary businesses of natural gas pipelines and power generation.Our operations span three countries, seven Canadian provinces, and 34 U.S. states.- TC Energy is an equal opportunity employer._Learn moreThank you for choosing TC Energy in your career search.- Applicants must have legal authorization to work in the country in which the position is based with no restrictions.- All positions require background screening.Some require criminal and/or credit checks to comply with regulations.
