**Together we are powering the future of Higher Education**Here at Ellucian, we are motivated by a mission ~ the power of education to transform lives and change the world.We are the global market leader in EdTech for Higher Education, serving more than 2,700 customers and reaching over 26 million students in 50+ countries.We are dedicated to helping Higher Ed thrive by transforming their institutions to agile, digitally connected campuses that enable student success.**About the opportunity**:Ellucian is seeking an innovative Software Engineer I to join the R&D team.This is an excellent opportunity to contribute to a new next generation cloud-based product for Ellucian.This is a role where you will be fully hands on and will be part of the design, development, and adoption of this exciting & new cloud-based higher education solution.We are looking for a motivated contributor with development skills in multiple programming languages and frameworks such as.NET, Node.js, JavaScript, and REACT.You will be joining a team focused on delivering world-class, customer-focused solutions as part of the leading cloud software company for higher education**Where you will make an impact**:- You will participate in the design, development, and delivery of innovative solutions for the next generation of Higher Education products- You will participate in collaborative scrum activities to define, scope, and implement stories based on business requirements that drive SaaS/cloud success- You will incorporate industry best practices and influence team standards to enhance maintainability and extensibility**What you will bring**:- Understanding of implementing CI/CD (e.g., Jenkins)- Hands-on experience with the development of highly available, scalable enterprise systems- Understanding of microservices and serverless architecture- Independent and self-motivated- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills- Understanding of scrum development methodology**Additional Information**:**Req ID**:******Hiring Type**:Full - Time**Level of Experience**:Entry-Level**Remote**:No**Travel Required**:None
