This position requires a basic understanding of turbochargers & vehicle systems combined with creativity and drive to develop new products based on customer needs.Responsibility spans from concept development of complex projects, support through test/validation and launch.Design Engineer brings critical design & development competencies to our Lead Engineer's team, developing cutting edge turbocharger boosting technologies.- Interface closely with Customers to understand detailed Turbocharger design requirements.- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure robust designs.- Use internal standards & industry experience to develop complex systems, that meets customer specific requirements & packaging space.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related.- English (Advanced)- +3 years' work experience designing mechanical and aerodynamic devices/components/systems.- Strong CAD skills.Minimum 2 years' experience with CATIA V5, Onshape or equivalent CAD software.(Solid modeling, surfacing and drafting).- Knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing standard and 2D/3D Tolerance Stack up analysis.- Experience with Enovia PLM / SmarTeam / Team Center PDM Systems.- Experience in manufacturing Metal Castings, Machining, Sheet metal forming, Plastic injection molded parts & part assembly processes.
