Charge Forward : Powering the Future of Sustainable Mobility More than just a leading provider of innovative charging solutions, Ampure Charging Systems isn't just building EV chargers, we're pioneering the sustainable mobility revolution.Since the world's first modern electric car, our tech has been at the forefront, and today we're a top 100 global automotive supplier with a commanding 41% market share Our pioneering spirit continues to guide us as we develop charging solutions for a diverse range of applications.We offer a comprehensive portfolio of products for on-road electric vehicles, as well as industrial workhorses like forklifts to airport ground support equipment.Renowned for safety, efficiency, and extending battery life, our chargers pave the way for a climate-neutral mobility of the future.About the RoleAs a Mechanical Engineer, you will lead the design and development of electro-mechanical products for high-volume production.Roles and ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop electro-mechanical products for high-volume productionCreate and maintain design documentation, including 2D and 3D CAD models, drawings, and specificationsWork closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve design issuesAnalyze and evaluate designs to ensure they meet customer requirements, safety standards, and applicable regulationsLead the development of prototypes and conduct design verification and validation testingCollaborate with suppliers to develop components and assemblies for optimal performance and manufacturabilityFollow ISOFollow ISO and IATF ProcessesIATF processes, as required.Travel as required - up to 20%Required SkillsBachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering10+ years of industry experience with a proven track record of mechanical engineering and product designPracticing knowledge of mechanical engineering fundamentals, including industrial metal enclosures, injection-molded plastics, overmolding, stamped metal components, and machined metal componentsStrong CATIA V5 design experience (3D and drawing)Strong tolerance stacks and GD&T knowledgeExperience in design requirements for regulatory compliance (UL, CE, NEC, etc.) is a plusGood understanding of the APQP processStrong analytical and problem-solving skillsExcellent English communication skills with a proactive and clear styleExperience working cross-functionally across an organizationProven experience in creating engineering drawings in compliance with ASME standards#J-*****-Ljbffr
