Powering Positive ChangeIn a world of constant change, the only way to make a meaningful impact is to stay ahead of the curve.That's why at Maxeon Solar Technologies we've been pushing the boundaries of solar innovation every day for 35 years - from the very edge of outer space to countless rooftops below.Our highly advanced solar products are powering the fight against climate change in more than 100 countries around the globe.And our brilliant, passionate, and driven team of more than 5,000 people globally are Powering Positive Change every day.Are you ready to power positive change?**Family Description**:Develops, implements and maintains methods, operation sequence and processes in the manufacture or fabrication of parts, components, sub-assemblies and final assemblies.Interfaces with design engineering in coordinating the release of new products.Estimates manufacturing cost, determines time standards and makes recommendations for tooling and process requirements of new or existing product lines.Maintains records and reporting systems for coordination of manufacturing operations.Develops new or modified process formulations, defines processing or handling equipment requirements and specifications, and reviews processing techniques and methods applied in the manufacture, fabrication, and evaluation of products.Involvement may begin at any step from laboratory-scale to pilot plant to full-scale manufacturing.Coordinates design requirement review with appropriate engineering/scientific personnel to ensure compatibility of processing methods.Compiles and evaluates test data to determine appropriate limits and variables for process or material specifications.May conceive and plan projects involving definition and selection of new concepts, equipment automation technology, and approaches in the processing or development of new or improved processes.**Knowledge and Technical Skills**:Demonstrates technical process/equipment expertise.Suggests alternative solutions to complex issues.Expert in technical leadership or process/ equipment qualification and development methodologies.**Complexity**:Works on problems of diverse scope, where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.Networks with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.Solves complex technical problems within area of designation.Uses understanding of the root cause to develop future innovation opportunities.**Teamwork, Collaboration and Influence**:Insures that knowledge and information are appropriately communicated.Encourages collaboration by engaging others in problem solving.Collaborates company-wide on cross-functional, cross-divisional teams.Adept at working directly with customer or customer representative to discuss technical matters.**Initiative**:Works independently, providing leadership for some project elements.Develops and recommends solutions for problems of diverse scope.Creative Thinking and Innovation:Applies diverse experience from multiple projects to solve problems, benefit the project team and/or develop new technical roadmaps.Looks for innovative ways to improve operational methods to align with SunPower values.**Impact and Results Focus**:Delivers results that positively impact productivity and quality of finished work or product.Demonstrates strong understanding of project scope and logic, including economics and relationship to needs of SunPower's customers.**Minimum Education and Experience**:B.S. degree in Engineering and 4+ years of related experience or M.S.
