Rockwell Automation is a global technology leader focused on helping the world's manufacturers be more productive, sustainable, and agile.With more than 28,000 employees who make the world better every day, we know we have something special.Behind our customers - amazing companies that help feed the world, provide life-saving medicine on a global scale, and focus on clean water and green mobility - our people are energized problem solvers that take pride in how the work we do changes the world for the better.We welcome all makers, forward thinkers, and problem solvers who are looking for a place to do their best work.And if that's you we would love to have you join us**Job Description**:- Functional- Reviews and updates scope, contract, main stakeholders, and budget.- Responsible that the documentation follows the QMS (Quality Management System) requirements.- Interacts daily with peers and customers (typically internal) to exchange or present information.- Builds stable working relationships internally.- Leads meetings throughout the project life (internal KOM, customer KOM, project status, etc).- Works with Solutions Manager and Engineering Manager to budget, plan and schedule project activities and resources- Leads the project risk management (identification and mitigation with project team).- Attack roadblocks and impediments to delivering incremental value.- Leads and gathers lessons learned through the project.- Ensures with the Technical Leader the design, implementation, test, and startup phases of complex systems projects.- Ensures the creation and approval of any Engineering Design and Functional Specification.- Facilitate and ensures the use of templates, procedures, and standards.- Reports project status and issues.- Leads and follow-up the material status with the buyer.- Responsible on-site implementation and startup (site or remote lead).- Represents Rockwell Automation as a leading authority.- Supports an environment conducive to customer satisfaction.- Leadership- Learning to use professional concepts.- Applies company policies and procedures to resolve routine issues.- Works on issues of limited scope.- Follows established practices and procedures in analyzing situations or data from which answers can be readily obtained.- Ensures the project team has the knowledge to drive engineering standardization efforts for system software and/or hardware solutions.- Deal with Customers to give them confidence that we really know what we are doing and that we have control of activities.- Release and recognize project members.- Evaluate project team performance (Technical Leader, Project Engineer, 3rd Party Contractors).- Mentor others in technologies, tools, and processes.- Operate in an agile/waterfall capability team where quality and security are built into daily work, and we make time to help others improve their environment as well.- Interpersonal- Patience.- Emotional Intelligence Management.- People Management Skills.- Project issues ownership.- Problem Solver.Able to resolve a minor customer and teamwork conflict into the project.- Supports an environment conducive to successful team interaction.- Able to work in multiple projects at same time.- Availability to travel national interactions.- Business- Lead on time delivery, schedule, budget, quality, resource, forecast, margin, and customer satisfaction targets.- Builds partnerships with project team.- Presents main technical, contract, scope and schedule aspects of sales proposals to customers.- Responsible for following all applicable corporate, company, governmental and regulatory policies, and procedures as appropriate for this position.QUALIFICATIONS:- BS in Engineering or Information Technology discipline or equivalent knowledge; further education in engineering/administration is a plus.- More than 3 years of experience as Project Manager / Technical Leader activities.- Understand of LAN/WAN network technologies.- Knowledge of PLC, HMI, SCADA and/or FactoryTalk Software will be an advantage.- Understanding Rockwell Automation Products hardware and software product suites (FT Studio, FT View, FT Historian, FT Asset Centre, FT Directory, FT Security) will be an advantage.- Understand Cyber Security Standards, Thin Client technologies, virtualization technology (VMWare).- Not required but desired knowledge of any: GAMP, PRINCE2 Foundation/PRINCE2 Practitioner, JIRA, CSM, MS Planner, Hive, Trello.- Good knowledge (Microsoft Windows environment, Office 365).- Advanced knowledge in MS Project.- Good troubleshooting, analytical and risk assessment skills.- Intellectual curiosity and the ability to question partners across functional areas.- Strong analytical skills.- Ability to adapt quickly to new technologies and changing business requirements.- Strong listening, pragmatic feedback, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.- Own PMP and/or ACP certifications.If no
