Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company.We are a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines.We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms.Our solutions support the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world.Chromalloy employees are proud, passionate problem-solvers who strive to live our values every day.A career with Chromalloy is an opportunity to learn from top industry experts, work with important technologies, and unlock a passion for innovation.Join our team of experts, innovators and problem-solvers delivering world-class solutions for our customers.Be part of something bigger with Chromalloy.**Video**: What We DoResponsible for rewriting technical documentation to aggregate technical data to a consistent location within all documents.Working within legacy ERP and document management systems to ensure data is clearly described and written at a level for operators to comprehend.**ESSENTIAL DUTIES/TASKS**:- Assemble master list of operations- Create approved data to work scope matrix- Create part numbers to work scope matrix- Create work instructions for each operation- Standardize work instructions across part families- Identify equipment capability per operation- Create Bill of Materials- Create part number and repair code park marking instructions- Populate Epicor data by operation- Assemble Rework work scopes- Collaborate effectively in a multi-disciplinary team environment to consistently develop standardized documentation.- Prepare accurate written technical reports, specifications, procedures and manuals- Prepare and deliver presentations of work to all levels of external and internal customers- Trains less experienced technical staff- Work in a lab and field environments.- Occasional travel required.**Requirements**:- Technology degree or equivalent- Familiar with technical language and manufacturing methodologies- Understanding of various measuring techniques including CMM, white-light/laser scanning, gages,..- General interpretation of engineering drawings and manufacturing specifications- Working knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, CI and 6 sigma methodology- Working knowledge of quality systems and documentation management.- Thoughtful and effective communications skills- Ability to read, write, and speak fluently in English- Proficiency in Epicor, Microsoft Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.
