Assistant Estimator

**Organizational Area**Operations**Position Summary**An Estimator is responsible to prepare cost estimates by analyzing proposals and requirements.The Estimator identifies and computes the labor, material, and time requirements and costs by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related to the bid documents presented by the sales team in order to help them win sales deals for the company's benefit.**Primary Responsibilities**- Work in conjunction with the sales team.- Gathering proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.- Read and interpret bid specifications and drawings.- Review bid requirements thoroughly and ask questions.- Identify labor, material, and time requirements by studying proposals, blueprints, specifications, and related documents.- Determine costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements.- Develop RFI's and clarifications to ensure bids are as complete as possible.- Contact suppliers for quotes.- Coordinate daily meetings with sales team.- Show creativity and resourcefulness to gain accurate pricing.- Work through Excel template to create proposal.- Ensure bids are prepared timely and accurately.- Review drawings and highlight any discrepancies and areas of concern.- Review budget and highlight any areas of concern.- File all documentation in the designated ShareFile folders indicated.- Perform other job duties as assigned.**Supervisor**Operation Manager**Skills/Qualifications**- Minimum high school/GED; College Degree or equivalent.- 2+ years' experience as an Estimator in the construction industry.- Ability to read drawings.- Ability to effectively communicate.- Deadline-oriented.- Deep analyzes of information.- Attention to detail and thoroughness.- Ability to maintain work performance and quality level.**Job Types**: Full-time, TemporaryContract length: 2 monthsPay: $1,****** - $2,****** per weekDisponibilidad para viajar:- 25 % (Obligatorio)Work Location: In person
