DESCRIPTIONAmazon Music is an immersive audio entertainment service that deepens connections between fans, artists, and creators.From personalized music playlists to exclusive podcasts, concert livestreams to artist merch, Amazon Music is innovating at some of the most exciting intersections of music and culture.We offer experiences that serve all listeners with our different tiers of service: Prime members get access to all the music in shuffle mode, and top ad-free podcasts, included with their membership; customers can upgrade to Amazon Music Unlimited for unlimited, on-demand access to 100 million songs, including millions in HD, Ultra HD, and spatial audio; and anyone can listen for free by downloading the Amazon Music app or via Alexa-enabled devices.Join us for the opportunity to influence how Amazon Music engages fans, artists, and creators on a global scale.We believe that Amazon Music on Alexa is the best voice-enabled music experience in the world.It is Day 1 in the world of voice-enabled devices and we're looking for great leaders to help us make it even better.Key job responsibilitiesUnderstanding how all elements of the Voice and mobile Experience ecosystem work together and developing QA approaches that fit the overall strategy.Develop and execute manual & automated tests and test plansEfficiently execute test cases across all functional areas of our productsFinding, isolate, document, regress, and track bugs through resolutionInterpret and report testing results, and be a vocal proponent for quality in every phase of the development processWork with Software Development Engineers to understand the overall technical architecture and how each feature is implementedEnsure the highest quality product delivery, working with a team of quality engineering professionalsEvaluate product functionality and create test strategies and test cases to assess product quality.About the teamAs the QAE on the Amazon Music Internationalization QA Team, you will be responsible for leading the effort to invent and improve the ways that customers can ask for what they want to hear in Amazon Music Unlimited, Prime Music or Ad-supported Free Tier in international markets.You will lead the efforts to ensure that the Quality of the Amazon Music Experience is the best.You should be a person that pays close attention to details and is driven to deliver solutions that delight customers.BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- 2+ years of quality assurance engineering experience- Experience in automation testing- Experience in manual testing- Experience in UI and API automation testing (Selenium/SOAPUI)- Knowledge of QA methodology and tools- Knowledge of at least one programming language such as Java, C#, JavaScript, Python, Ruby or Perl- Speak, write, and read fluently in EnglishPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS- Experience in API & Mobile testing- Experience designing and planning test conditions, test scripts, and test data sets to ensure appropriate and adequate coverage and control- Experience working with Voice Assistants- Experience working with teams in multiple time zones- Self-directed, demonstrate leadership potential and a team player- Excellent written and oral communication skills
