In this role, you will be responsible for the overall reliability of the equipment within the corresponding processes through the planning, direction, and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs, using World Class Manufacturing (WCM)The position is based in Mexicali, Baja California, Mexico and report to Factory DirectorTetra Pak is not sponsoring work visas or relocation for this position.What you will doAs Maintenance Manager you will:Overall reliability of equipment of respective processes through planning, directing and scheduling of preventive and corrective maintenance programs.Provide technical leadership to engineers and technicians for machine troubleshooting, root cause analysis and effective counter measure.Be responsible for waste reductionDrive innovation to improve energy consumption and better machine ergonomics for operators’ safety.Plan of the shift team and ensure sufficient manning.Lead in the appraisal of the technicians and team.Responsible of the Utilities & Projects departments of the factory.Collaborating in cross projects with other areas like: production, quality, warehouse, planning and logistics, WCM, etc.We believe you haveFluent in English and Spanish.Bachelor’s degree in related fields.Background in Mechanical, Electrical and Automation maintenance.Proven experience working with World Class Manufacturing (WCM) / Total Productive Maintenance (TPM) / Continuous Improvement methodologiesKnowledge of predictive maintenance, Reliability Center Maintenance (RCM).Forecast and cost management experience.People manage at least 40 people, with 3 years’ experience as minimum.Food safety knowledge is a plus.We Offer YouA variety of exciting challenges with ample opportunities for development and training in a truly global landscapeA culture that pioneers a spirit of innovation where our industry experts drive visible resultsAn equal opportunity employment experience that values diversity and inclusionMarket competitive compensation and benefits with flexible working arrangementsApply NowIf you are inspired to be part of our promise to protect what’s good; for food, people, and the planet, apply through our careers page at https://jobs.tetrapak.com/ .This job posting expires on January 20, 2026.Diversity, equity, and inclusion is an everyday part of how we work.
