This role involves handling documentation, monitoring shipments, and collaborating with internal teams and external partners to guarantee timely and cost-effective delivery of goods.Key ResponsibilitiesCustoms Compliance: Ensure all import/export activities comply with local and international regulations, including customs clearance and trade compliance requirements.Documentation: Prepare and review shipping documents such as invoices, packing lists, bills of lading, certificates of origin, and customs declarations.Coordination: Liaise with freight forwarders, customs brokers, and carriers to track shipments and resolve any issues promptly.Regulatory Updates: Stay informed about changes in trade laws, tariffs, and customs regulations affecting company operations.Cost Optimization: Negotiate shipping rates and identify opportunities to reduce transportation costs without compromising service quality.Inventory & ERP Management: Update and maintain accurate records in ERP systems related to shipments and inventory.Problem Resolution: Address delays, discrepancies, or compliance issues to minimize impact on supply chain operations.Reporting: Generate regular reports on import/export activities, costs, and compliance status for management review.QualificationsEducation: Bachelor’s degree in International Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field.Experience: 2–4 years in import/export operations or international logistics.Skills:Strong knowledge of customs regulations and international trade laws.Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Office Suite.Excellent communication and negotiation skills.Detail-oriented with strong organizational abilities.Certifications (Preferred): Certified Customs Specialist (CCS), International Trade Certification.Languages: English and Spanish proficiency (additional languages are a plus). #J-18808-Ljbffr
