Manufacturing Engineering Manager

**Responsibilities**:- Providing support and direction to the new product development team for the development and integration of new product lines.- Responsible for project management in the areas of building and procuring production equipment, tooling, fixtures, and inspection equipment.- Works with and manages outside vendors and contractors to assure quality and compliance.- Responsible for process improvement to optimize equipment up-time, cost, and/or quality of end product.- Organizing cross functional team meetings with plants and vendors to evaluate design inputs, project status, and feedback.- Managing and driving the technology roadmap and capital replacement plan.- Maintaining awareness of the relevance and importance of activities and how each contributes to achieving quality objectives.Ensuring customer quality standards are met.**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics, Industrial or Manufacturing Engineering- 10+ years' engineering experience- 5+ years' experience in equipment and process engineering project management- Bilingual (English/Spanish) required- Knowledge of aluminum casting and machining- LEAN experience- Experience with high tolerance CNC machining- Working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing per ANSI Y14.5- Metrology capabilities with basic instruments, such as micrometer, comparator, et al.- Knowledge of mechatronics and manufacturing related electromechanical devices- PLC or equivalent Computer controlled equipment software and hardware experience- Vision Systems knowledge and experienceWork Location: One location
