**Job Title**:Director of Operations**Working Location**:Guadalajara, Mexico**Seniority Level**: Senior Management**Job Function**: OperationsThis position is responsible for leading BU Cell Manager, Production Manager, and New Product Manager (NPI) to satisfy customer's requirements: New product launch, order management, quality achievement, shipment and revenue performance.To achieve P/L goal by properly resource arrangement, production and inventory management.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Develops and maintains manufacturing operations business plans to include all program requirements, labor hours, cycle, production costs, and image.- Provides input to the development of product strategy and research and development of new and emerging products.- Establishes production and quality control standards, develops budget and cost controls, and obtains data regarding types, quantities, specifications, and delivery dates of products ordered.- Provides guidance to the development of a manufacturing process plan, including personnel requirements, material needs, subcontract requirements, facility needs, and tooling and equipment needs.- Ensures all established costs, quality, and delivery commitments are met.- Coordinates manufacturing activities with all other functions of the organization and suppliers to obtain optimum production and utilization of human resources, machines, and equipment.- Reviews production and operating reports and directs the resolution of operational, manufacturing, and maintenance problems to ensure minimum costs and prevent operational delays.- Determines responsibilities of assigned organization and staff positions to accomplish business objectives.- Develop operational procedures and standards to achieve business goals.- Develop budget plans to control expense and meet cost objectives.- Develop strategic plans to improve operational efficiency.- Schedule monthly meetings to discuss about concerns, budgets and business improvements.- Assist in development and delivery of all client projects.- Manage staffing requirement and assignment for client projects.- Provide support and guidance to operations team as and when needed.- Monitor performance metrics and evaluate operational effectiveness.- Ensure that operations team follows safety and security procedures.- Responsible for implementing programs to ensure compliance with laws, regulations and the requirements of the RBA- Perform other duties as assigned.**Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities**:- Excellent communication (written and verbal) skills- SMT Experience and knowledge required- Risk Assessment and Mitigation skills recommended.- Excellent organizational, analytical, problem solving, and prioritization skills- Proven ability to function independently and multi-task- Must have ability to remain flexible in a dynamic work environment**Education and Experience**:- Bachelor's degree in Engineering with 5 years of manufacturing experience required.- Master's degree in Engineering, Science, or Business Administration with 5 years experience will be considered.- Experience with cost accounting is a plus.iiv6Sc0X8C
