**Location**: Apodaca, NLE, MX, *******Company**:CorningRequisition Number: *****Corning is one of the world's leading innovators in materials science.For more than 160 years, Corning has applied its unparalleled expertise in specialty glass, ceramics, and optical physics to develop products that have created new industries and transformed people's lives.Corning succeeds through sustained investment in R&D, a unique combination of material and process innovation, and close collaboration with customers to solve tough technology challenges.**Doctor****Monterrey, MX****Purpose of Position.**Support the Corporate Health Services strategy, Occupational health and Safety system, perform medical admission process.as well as health and medical needs for all the employees at siteMention the major responsibilities and tasks of the position.- Able to handle medical situations, such as accidents, prevent and take care of regular or labor related injuries and/or diseases.- Take care of the entire medical admission process for new employees and regular medical checkups for the existing ones- Do safety rounds throughout the Company premises- Able to detect unsafe labor conditions focusing it to the right person- Able to select the right safety equipment for these activities- Able to establish health and safety procedures according to the Company polices and the Mexican law such as medical admission process, security commission, cafeteria committee, safety rounds, etcetera.**List the two most complex decisions indicative of this function and its impact to the function, department and/or corporation.**- Medical procedures and/or medical treatments- Injuries prevention medical attention in accidents- Internal and External Customers.- Internal.- All type of personnel, including union and confidential employees.- External.- Labor Secretary- IMSS- Hospitals- Doctors- Personnel Directed.- Nurses**Minimum Knowledge and Skill Requirements.****Education**:- Medical degree diploma and Doctor's license- Work Experience.- 5 years of experience in similar position- Additional Skills.- Fully Bilingual.- Excellent presentation- Ability to interact with all type of personnel.- Knowledge of Labor Safety and Labor Secretary policies**Extraordinary Activities and additional Skills.**- Contribute and participate in Internal and External Audits in department, as well as being responsible for the good results of such.- Some examples of Audits are: ISO *****, TL, 5's, Corporate Safety, Sarbox,- Soft Skills: Team Work, Problem Solving, Time Management.
