Position Overview:TheSenior Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A) Analystwill play a critical role in supporting the finance function through budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis.Based inTijuana, Mexico, the analyst will work closely with cross-functional teams—both locally and the US—to provide financial insights that drive strategic business decisions.This position requires strong analytical skills, financial modeling proficiency, and the ability to interpret data to support business performance.The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:Assist with monthly financial close processes and prepare reporting packages for regional or global finance teamsDevelop and maintain financial models to evaluate business performance and support decision-makingMonitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs), highlighting trends and business risks/opportunitiesAnalyze actual vs. budget/forecast results and provide actionable insightsPrepare and manage monthly and quarterly financial forecasts and variance analysisSupport the annual budget process, collaborating with department leaders across operations, supply chain, and corporateIdentify drivers of financial performance and provide actionable insights to improve profitability and operational efficiencyEstablish best practices for data integrity, reporting governance, and financial controlsOwn recurring reporting cycles by ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and data integrityPartner with business leaders to validate assumptions, assess risks, and ensure forecast accuracyContribute to process improvements and automation of reporting tools (Excel, QAD, Planful)Required Qualifications:Bachelor's degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field (Master's degree or MBA is a plus)2–5 years of relevant experience in FP&A, financial analysis, or corporate finance (manufacturing experience is highly preferred)Proficiency in Excel, financial modeling, and ERP systemsStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skillsComfortable working in a bilingual (English/Spanish) and multicultural environmentStrong understanding of budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and performance managementAbility to derive insights and recommend actions, not just produce reports.Experience in amaquiladoraenvironment or working with U.S.-based parent companies is highly valuedMust be comfortable communicating financial concepts to non-finance stakeholdersAbility to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlinesDesired Qualifications:Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally in a fast-paced environmentExcellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Proactive self-starter, who takes initiative and demonstrates a willingness to learnAbility to drive continuous improvement of systems and processesHigh performance standards with high ethical values and confidentialityPassion for excellence, with the highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organizedStrong ability to think strategically, problem solve, and plan effectively, with attention to detail and a strong ownership ethic#J-*****-Ljbffr
