R&D BUYER PLANNERAt Alcon, we are driven by the meaningful work we do to help people see brilliantly.We innovate boldly, champion progress, and act with speed as the global leader in eye care.Here, you'll be recognized for your commitment and contributions and see your career like never before.Together, we go above and beyond to make an impact in the lives of our patients and customers.We foster an inclusive culture and are looking for diverse, talented people to join Alcon.Role OverviewAs an R&D Buyer Planner you will be supporting our Supply Chain Planning Family, developing proficient entry-level skill in procurement functions directly associated with timely planning of Development Projects materials, tooling, services, and planning schedules.Establish skillset and ability to analyze and define inventory levels.ResponsibilitiesTimely Project Procurement.Planning and scheduling of material receipt / services.SRM Ariba system procurement proficiency.Support annual Cost of Goods (COGs) for New Product Introduction (NPI).Proficient in creating and submitting First Time Buys.Reviews, dispositions Prototype Engineering Change Notices (PECN's) and Production Engineering Change Notices (ECN's).Maintain data that affects Material Requirements Planning (MRP) output such as lead-time, minimum orders, lot sizes, safety stock, etc.Responsible for timely review of non-conforming material and understanding of material movement through warehouse processes.Executes movement of material both internally and externally.Initiate new part setup.Secures and analyzes quotes, initiates purchase orders and amendments for parts, services and / or tools.Open work orders within the established guidelines.Appropriately communicate issues to internal stakeholders.Timely reconciliation of invoices.Takes Guidance from Senior Level Buyer / Planners for day-to-day tasks.QualificationsWhat you'll bring to Alcon: Mechatronics, Chemical, or Industrial Engineering, or bachelor's degree in administration.1 year of experience or less of directly related experience.Good communication skills, proactive, dynamic, empathetic, fast learning.Basic SAP and / or Ariba System.Good written and verbal English skills.How you can thrive at AlconOpportunity to join a growing, early-stage organization built within a mature and stable global company.Friendly environment of work and a diverse and highly motivated team of individual professional development and possible professional growth within a newly created account.Truly international environment and daily interactions with colleagues and stakeholders from around the world.Attractive benefits and compensation package.Flexible hours and remote work possibilities (minimum 3 days per week off).KINDLY SUBMIT YOUR RESUME IN ENGLISH#J-#J-*****-Ljbffr
