**Category Buyer****Job Summary**- Direct material Purchase.Quote, selection and final recommendation of suppliers.Generate savings to meet the goals established by Aptiv.Purchase order management.General commercial support.**Skills**:- University degree in commercial, engineering or value chain-related areas.- English at a level of 80%.- Mandatory experience: Purchasing (2 - 3 years)- Negotiation with suppliers- Troubleshooting- Prioritize activities and assignments- Program Management skills- Skills and knowledge in Microsoft office:- Excel, Word and Power point- SAP- Visa **(prefer)****Your role**:- Negotiation with suppliers- Search for savings opportunities and projects.- Materials analysis.- Supply chain analysis.- Economic factors in the industry analysis- Achieve savings goals.- Improve commercial terms such as:- Payment terms.- Receipt Payments.- Monthly payments.- Incoterm.- Transfer titles, etc.- Location within the region.- Timely supplier selection process.- Coordinate/Support business transfers between Aptiv plants.- Prevent interruptions in supplier deliveries.- Tool movements.- Supplier location changes.- Suppliers changes- Update multiple reports and presentations (supplier, Category, etc.).- Comply with purchasing policies and procedures and in their interactions with other areas.- Supervise a buyer assistant (when applicable)- Any other activity related to my position.Aptiv is an equal employment opportunity employer.All qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, national origin, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability status, protected veteran status or any other characteristic protected by law.
