The architect will be responsible for leading the design, development, deployment, and maintenance of scalable solutions on the AWS cloud. They will collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and security teams to ensure that applications are robust, secure, and highly efficient. Key Responsibilities Design and implement serverless and microservices-based architectures on AWS. Develop applications using services such as Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, ECS, Step Functions, and Angular, among others. Participate in technical architecture decisions in collaboration with other architects and team leads. Automate deployments using tools such as CloudFormation, CDK, or Terraform. Monitor and optimize cloud application performance. Ensure security best practices are applied throughout the software development lifecycle. Mentor junior and mid-level developers on AWS and cloud best practices. Technical Requirements 6+ years of software development experience. 5+ years of hands-on experience with AWS services. Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Node.js, Java, or Go. Strong understanding of serverless and container-based architectures (ECS, Fargate, Lambda). Experience with CI/CD tools (AWS CodePipeline, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.). Familiarity with AWS databases (RDS, DynamoDB, Aurora). Solid knowledge of cloud security concepts (IAM, KMS, VPC, WAF, etc.). Certifications Required: AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Professional (SAP). Preferred: Additional AWS certifications such as Developer Associate or DevOps Engineer - Professional. Preferred Qualifications Experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools: AWS CDK, CloudFormation, or Terraform. Experience in agile environments (Scrum, Kanban). Knowledge of monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, X-Ray, or Datadog. Soft Skills Strong analytical thinking and solution-oriented mindset. Excellent teamwork and communication skills.
