Job Title & Location Sr Cloud Engineer – GCP & GKE - Mexico City Metropolitan Area, Mexico. Req ID: Primary SkillCloud-Infrastructure-Google Cloud Platform. Minimum GCP experience: 4+ years. Total Experience: 6+ Years. Key Responsibilities Assess, design and implement GCP solutions including compute, network, storage, identity, security, DR/business continuity strategy, migration, templates, cost optimization. Execute large complex cloud transformation programs: discovery, assessment, business case creation, design, build, migration planning and execution. Use industry leading or native discovery, assessment and migration tools. Work with Anthos Application Platform, GCE, GAE, GKE, GCS. Provision compute instances using GCP console, Terraform, and Google Cloud SDK; create databases and manage data analysis tools (BigQuery). Perform cost analysis, cost optimization, and maintain Git & GitHub repositories. Monitor VMs and applications using Stackdriver, set up VPN and Interconnect, and configure HA environments. Manage Cloud Storage retention policies and Google IAM permissions. Install, configure, and administer GKE clusters, Pods, containers, DaemonSets, plugins, HugePages, and GPUs. Required Qualifications GCP Solution Architect Certification. At least 4 years of GCP experience, 6+ years overall technical experience. Strong expertise in compute, networking, storage, IAM, security, cost analysis, Terraform, PowerShell, Ansible. Hands‑on experience with GCE, GAE, GKE, GCS, and Anthos. Experience with Kubernetes administration: cluster management, pod configuration, logging, scaling, GPU/hugepage scheduling. Knowledge of ITIL-based service delivery; ITIL certification desired. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with global customers. Other Skills & Attributes Soft skills: timely communication, ownership of technical issues, stakeholder engagement.
