As one of the first pioneers of earned wage access, our passion at EarnIn is building products that deliver real-time financial flexibility for those with the unique needs of living paycheck to paycheck.Our community members access their earnings as they earn them, with options to spend, save, and grow their money without mandatory fees, interest rates, or credit checks.We're fortunate to have an incredibly experienced leadership team, combined with world-class funding partners like A16Z, Matrix Partners, DST, Ribbit Capital, and a very healthy core business with a tremendous runway.We're growing fast and are excited to continue bringing world-class talent onboard to help shape the next chapter of our growth journey.Position SummaryThe Accounting Lead will play a key role in strengthening our accounting operations and financial reporting capabilities as we prepare for a public company environment.We're seeking a professional with a strong accounting foundation and experience in audit or public-company reporting environments.The Accounting Lead will be responsible for managing month-end and year-end close processes, support audits and partner cross-functionally to strengthen internal controls and financial reporting practices.Collaboration and coordination with other departments will be frequent to align on evolving business needs.This position is ideally hybrid from our Mexico City office as part of our expanding site.EarnIn offers excellent benefits, including healthcare, internet and cell phone reimbursement, a learning and development stipend, and potential opportunities to travel to our Mountain View, CA headquarters.Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport the month-end close process with specific areas of focus including fixed assets, prepaids, capitalized software, leases, intangibles, payroll, accruals, and international subsidiaries.Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts ensuring all transactions are recorded accurately and in accordance with U.S. GAAP.Analyze financial statements and reports;
