Supply Quality Senior Supervisor

OverviewThe Incoming Quality incoming and process supervisor ensures that purchased materials, components, and subassemblies meet Schneider Electric quality standards, regulatory requirements, and customer expectations, administrate the team of inspectors in incoming and process. This role leads incoming inspection activities, supplier containment, and defect prevention while reinforcing Schneider Electric’s culture of Safety, Sustainability, Customer First, and Operational Excellence. The position plays a critical role in protecting manufacturing continuity, improving supplier performance, and driving quality risk prevention across the supply chain.ResponsibilitiesLead root cause analysis and corrective action processes for incoming and supplier-related quality issues (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).Collaborate closely with the central team of Supplier Quality, Purchasing, and Supply Chain teams to prevent recurrence of defects.Support supplier audits, assessments, and improvement plans as required.Leadership & Team DevelopmentLead, coach, and develop incoming quality inspectors at incoming, process and quality incoming engineers.Set clear priorities, allocate resources, and ensure workload balance to support production needs.Promote accountability, engagement, and continuous learning within the team.Monitor and improve incoming quality KPIs (PPM, NCRs, containment efficiency, response time).What skills and capabilities will make you successful?Key Competencies: agility and adaptability, structured and methodical working style, sense of ownership and accountability. This position will be working occasionally with corporate Quality positions. Additionally have strong collaboration with Corporate and Quality Supplier management, Supply Chain, Purchasing, engineering, project managers and the operations teams.QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Quality, or related discipline)Experience: 5 years of experience in Quality, supplier quality or manufacturing quality engineer, desirable experience in new plant, project, or ramp‑up environments (internship, co‑op, or project work).Microsoft Office (Excel required), Minitab, Office.Proven experience leading or coordinating quality teams.Strong knowledge of incoming inspection processes, nonconformance management, and quality risk prevention.Solid experience with problem‑solving methodologies (8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, specifications, and quality requirements.Strong knowledge of Quality Management Systems (ISO 9001 required; IATF 16949 is a plus).IMPACT and cultureLooking to make an IMPACT with your career?When you are thinking about joining a new team, culture matters.
