Tax Manager

OverviewThe Sr. Tax Manager oversees the various tax processes for the Company. It requires an extensive knowledge of local taxation laws, and ensures that the company reports and provides any information needed in a timely manner.General ResponsibilitiesManage a full range of tax services in compliance with laws and regulations within timeframeBuild relationships and interact with clients to provide excellent planning, consulting and expertiseIdentify and mitigate tax risksManage tax-related activities in accordance with the tax strategy to ensure the organization meets its tax obligations and objectivesManage activities, policies, practices, and transactions to ensure they comply with all relevant laws and regulationsEnsure all tax returns, tax declarations, and other required reports are submitted accurately and on timeSelect and manage ongoing relationships with external consultants and advisors to ensure the organization receives satisfactory standards of serviceDevelops various activities that may include tax planning, research, compliance, reporting and filings, auditing, and communicating with external tax agenciesManage a team to ensure the organization\'s tax strategy is implemented accurately and consistently and in compliance with all relevant regulations, laws, and standardsDevelops goals and prepare performance assessments annually, in a timely mannerManages team activities, such as, journal entries, balance sheet account reconciliations, and overall control complianceExperience / QualificationsA university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experienceMust be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demandsStrong communication skills; oral, written and presentationStrong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve resultsStrong personal and professional ethical values and integrityHolds self-accountable to achieving goals and standardsProficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customersSmarter TogetherCollaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world’s most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thingEmployees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communicationAs OneSensata, we are working together to make things work togetherNote: This description may include marketing elements related to the company culture. #J-18808-Ljbffr
