Buying/Procurement Specialist

Job Description The Buying/Procurement Specialist will manage the buying process for direct production buy parts. The role applies sourcing policies, interacts with suppliers and business segments, and requires foundational procurement knowledge. Essential Responsibilities Place and follow‑up on purchase orders (POs) Manage supplier relationships: on‑time delivery, material availability, and lead‑time maintenance/reduction Update MRP systems Balance tactical execution with strategic initiatives to drive material availability and key business metrics Develop awareness of manufacturing processes and improve product knowledge Contribute to projects as a team member within the Fulfillment organization Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in international business or a related field Minimum of 1 year of experience in buying/procurement Desired Characteristics Oracle experience Negotiation experience desired Strong oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and leadership skills Lead initiatives of moderate scope and impact Ability to coordinate several projects simultaneously Effective problem identification and solution skills Proven analytical and organizational ability What could you accomplish in a place that puts People First?
