Maintenance Specialist (Especialista en mantenimiento de manufactura)Location: El Salto, JaliscoFORVIA HELLA is a listed international automotive supplier.As a company of the FORVIA Group, FORVIA HELLA stands for high-performance lighting technology and vehicle electronics.With the Lifecycle Solutions Business Group, it covers a broad service and product portfolio for the spare parts and workshop business as well as for manufacturers of special vehicles.With around 36,500 employees at over 125 locations, the company is active worldwide and generated adjusted sales of €8.1 billion in fiscal year ****.Job ObjectiveEnsure overall equipment management after SOP.Plan, control, and monitor all maintenance activities related to production equipment at the location to achieve the relevant KPIs (e.G., technical availability, preventive maintenance according to HELLA regulations) and targets.Execute technical availability improvement, FPY improvement, and cost improvement.Duties and ResponsibilitiesProvide timely technical support and troubleshooting for complex malfunctions.Prepare maintenance schedules and coordinate measures to optimize maintenance, servicing and repair work (cycles, materials, expenditure).Release and enforce preventive maintenance instructions for equipment.Ensure maintenance aligns with location needs regarding know-how, availability, shifts, and spare parts.Define and initiate procurement of spare parts (quantity and quality) and maintain the spare-part management system.Evaluate maintenance activities (feedback, damage code, error description) and derive measures for resource optimization.Direct work for reorganization, modification, and maintenance of production lines, including line optimization (cycle time, technical availability) in consultation with relevant departments and suppliers.Develop, establish, and support autonomous maintenance concepts and control the spare-part management.Provide technical advice to managers regarding complaints and machine modifications.Support TPM activities, such as Six Sigma projects, offering knowledge, feedback, ideas, and recommendations.Assist the Automation and Process Technology department in setting up new production equipment and technology.Follow up on and improve equipment efficiency to increase productivity; create maintenance guidelines and lessons learned with TSA/supplier during new line builds.Offer support and advice on equipment acquisition and modification.Moderate the maintenance lean workshop for improvement activities (PM instruction and time improvement, detail PM activity standardization, etc.).Diagnose faults using diagnostic systems and specify malfunctions of complex operating equipment.Prepare suggestions for eliminating weak spots and preventing damage (e.G., for new purchases/designs).Plan and calculate servicing measures, including dismantling, transporting, assembling, and commissioning complex equipment (new plant, conversions, transfers).Evaluate production failures and, if appropriate, derive and implement improvement measures in agreement with production divisions.Document and evaluate activities in the servicing system, initiating measures for equipment optimization if necessary.Your QualificationsEven if you do not meet all our requirements, please apply.We value employee development and offer opportunities across the company.Inclusion & DiversityFORVIA HELLA is committed to inclusivity.We welcome applicants from all backgrounds, regardless of ethnicity, age, religion, gender, disability, sexual orientation, or identity.To apply, please submit your application via our career portal, indicating your salary requirements and earliest possible start date, referencing req*****.#J-*****-Ljbffr
