The Process Technician controls and improves established processes for manufacturing, assembly, testing, packaging and product inspection operations.He/she manages the processes in order to meet specific customer requirements.General Activities- Develop work instructions for operations, rework, draws, deviations, etc.- Utilize 8D methodology for problem solving of areas or products under his/her responsibility.- Develop cost savings optimization and continuous improvement projects.- Balance line loads to achieve maximum process throughput.- Develop visual aids, HIV standard operation process (Visual Instruction Sheet), Parameter Approval Sheet (HAP).- Coordinate with Quality Engineering for discrepant material evaluation.- Develop and document failure mode analysis and control plan.- Contributes in developing standardized work for key process operations.- Maintains up to date standardized work and reports and takes action to resolve non-compliance.- Support and participate in improvement projects assigned in P3.Knowledge- Truncated career in Industrial Engineering, mechanical, manufacturing.Basic English.Knowledge in welding processes, industrial machinery, multimeter and electrical testing.Office software, Auto Cad, Minitab and Visio.Measurement techniques, SPC, data analysis, DMAIC and problem solving, Lean, OPEX.Basic knowledge of Lean Manufacturing.Knowledge of Industrial Robotics ""Teaching"" of robots.- Internal: Certifications according to customer requirements such as IPC-610A.CQI according to work area (CQI-15, CQI-23, CQI-17, etc.).Additional requirements- Teamwork- Functional Excellence- Drive and achievement of results- Customer Focus- Delineation of the PathSmarterTogether- Collaborating at Sensata means working with some of the world's most talented people in an enriching environment that is constantly pushing towards the next best thing- Employees work across functions, countries and cultures gaining new perspectives through mutual respect and open communication- As OneSensata, we are working together to make things work togetherClick here to viewSensata Recruitment Privacy StatementClick here to view ourSensata Recruitment Privacy Statement for China
