Site Reliability EngineerJoin tbo as a Site Reliability Engineer and work with a team of highly talented platform engineers to help maintain and scale our services platform.We are a global organization that provides translation, talent, training, teams and testing services to clients in over 40 countries.ResponsibilitiesWork on a team of extremely talented platform engineers to help maintain and scale the current and future state services platform.Help architect and develop the future state compute platform by leveraging industry best practices and embracing new technologies to support the company's growth.Help influence the product roadmaps of GCP (our primary cloud provider) to better suit our future state architecture.Collaborate with business and technical stakeholders to develop and architect enhancements to the compute platform capabilities that enable them to develop and iterate applications that power the business.Identify opportunities to introduce automation and improvements to avoid repetitive operational tasks (DRY).Participate in the on-call rotation to ensure operational excellence and overall platform health.Requirements5+ years of experience in platform engineering/SRE roles using an object-oriented language (Python, Golang, etc).Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or an equivalent combination of education and experience.Extensive experience working with Kubernetes in a public cloud (GKE, EKS, AKS, etc).Experience working with Istio/Service Mesh.Experience working with IaC (Terraform, Pulumi, etc).Experience working within a Public Cloud environment (GCP, AWS, Azure, etc).Experience with CI/CD tools such as Argo, Buildkite, TravisCI, Jenkins, Spinnaker, etc.Experience with platform observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, Datadog, Pagerduty, etc).Experience with networking.Experience and desire to work in an agile environment.Analytical mindset and passion for solving business problems with technology.Nice to HavesExperience with Dev Testing tools and patterns such as Garden, Flagger, Canary Deployments, Blue/Green Testing, A/B Testing.Experience setting up and working with Kubernetes Admission Control (Kyverno, OPA, etc).Experience working with workload scaling (HPA, VPA, Capacity Planning/Reservations, etc).About tboFounded in ****, tbo is a global organization that provides translation, talent, training, teams and testing services to a full range of clients in over 40 countries worldwide.We facilitate global communication by bridging the gap between peoples and cultures and providing simple solutions to complex problems with outstanding service in 100+ languages.We are committed to fostering a culture of continuous improvement, creativity, sustainability and community.EEO StatementAt tbo, we believe that fostering an inclusive culture and a diverse environment makes us stronger.We are an equal opportunity employer, dedicated to creating a space where everyone can thrive and grow.We are committed to ensuring our hiring processes are fair, transparent, and in compliance with all legal and policy requirements, promoting a workplace free from discrimination.Additional InformationSeniority level: Mid-Senior levelEmployment type: Full-timeJob function: Engineering and Information TechnologyIndustries: Translation and LocalizationReferrals increase your chances of interviewing at tbo by 2x.#J-*****-Ljbffr
