Role Description We are seeking a Contract-to-Hire Global Marketing / Media & Affiliate Manager to lead and expand our affiliate marketing and media partnership efforts, with a strong focus on Japan and Southeast Asia. This role is ideal for a results-driven marketing professional with expertise in fintech and international affiliate program management. The position is initially a contract role with the potential to convert to a full-time opportunity based on performance and business needs.

Responsibilities

Affiliate & Media Strategy Development: Build and execute affiliate and social media marketing strategies in Japan and Southeast Asian markets (e.g., Singapore, Thailand, Indonesia, Malaysia, Vietnam, Philippines). Identify, recruit, and manage high-performing affiliates, publishers, and media partners. Negotiate affiliate and media partnership terms, including commission models and performance agreements. Regional Growth & Market Expansion: Manage affiliate programs in secondary regions including the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Latin America.

Tailor marketing strategies to regional cultures and consumer behavior. Conduct market research to identify regional trends and competitive intelligence. Compliance & Legal Oversight: Ensure all campaigns comply with regional regulations, especially those governing fintech and financial services advertising. Stay informed of regulatory changes affecting marketing practices in each market.

Performance Management: Monitor and optimize affiliate campaign performance and ROI. Provide data-driven reporting and strategic insights on channel effectiveness and trends. Manage budgets and ensure efficient cost per acquisition (CPA). Industry Engagement: Represent the company at key international marketing and fintech conferences.

Cultivate relationships with industry stakeholders and potential partners.

Requirements

Required 5+ years of affiliate, performance, or media marketing experience. Demonstrated success managing affiliate programs in Japan and Southeast Asia. In-depth understanding of fintech, digital payments, and financial services marketing. Proficiency with affiliate tracking platforms and analytics tools.

Ability and willingness to travel internationally 30–40% of the time. Preferred Experience working in GCC and Latin American affiliate markets. Proficiency in Japanese, Mandarin, Spanish, or Arabic. Existing network of regional affiliate/media contacts.

Familiarity with programmatic advertising and influencer marketing. Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA a plus). #J-18808-Ljbffr
