**Job Title**: SDET Engineer (Automotive - C Development & ECU Testing)**Location**: 100% On-Site (Guadalajara, Jalisco)**Contract Type**: ContractorWe are seeking a skilled **Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET)** with a strong background in **embedded C development** and **automotive testing**, particularly in **Electronic Control Units (ECUs)**.This is a **100% on-site contractor role**, ideal for professionals who thrive in hands-on environments and are passionate about quality in automotive systems.**Key Responsibilities**:- Develop, execute, and maintain automated and manual test cases for ECU software.- Collaborate with developers and systems engineers to ensure test coverage and validate requirements.- Analyze and debug software issues in embedded systems using C.- Ensure compliance with automotive industry standards and testing protocols.- Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing frameworks and processes.**Requirements**:- Minimum of **3 years of experience** in **C programming** within embedded systems.- Proven experience in **automotive software testing**, with a focus on **ECUs**.- Strong understanding of automotive communication protocols (e.g., CAN, LIN, UDS).- Experience with debugging tools and test environments for embedded systems.- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.- Ability to work 100% on-site and collaborate effectively in a team environment.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Familiarity with ISO ***** or other automotive safety standards.- Experience with automated testing tools and frameworks for embedded systems.
