Hermosillo, MexicoFull TimeAerospaceExperiencedSHARE- Must have IPC620 Experience*The Source Inspector, (SI) is responsible for performing inspection operations of in-process or completed hardware, including dimensional, and visual inspection.The source inspection may include reviewing all paperwork relating to the product at hand.This includes operations such as Final Inspection, Receiving Inspection, Outside processing, and Assembly.The SI will also verify FAI's to AS**** for accuracy and completeness.The SI must be familiar with hand tools and gaging techniques.The SI will also be fluent in B/P interpretation and GD&T.Source Inspection will occur at end customer's suppliers' location.The SI will travel to these locations.**Responsibilities**:Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined componentsExperience in performing FAI's - AS****Experience with hand measurement toolsKnowledge of CMM Inspection processKnowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretationPerform final inspection and receiving inspection (Which includes dimensional, visual inspection, surface finish, and assembly inspection)Reads, interprets, and utilizes Quality policies, procedures, blueprints, and other documentationProcess warehouse materialsRely on instructions and pre-established guidelines/procedures to perform the functions of the jobSupport positive corrective actions and identification of root causeOther duties as assigned.**Required Skills**:Experienced quality individual in dimensional inspection of aerospace machined componentsExperience in performing FAI's - AS****Experience with hand measurement toolsMS Outlook, and EXCEL experienceExperience with hand measurement gages, conduct conventional inspection to engineering requirementsKnowledge and experience in GD&T (ASME Y14.5)Knowledge and experience with blueprint interpretationValid drivers license and auto insurance required.**Additional Desired Skills**:Prior practical experience and implementation of Quality inspection tools and equipment.Experience in RCCA, and problem solvingGeneral RequirementsAbility to handle complex situations and solve complex problemsAbility to work effectively under pressure to meet deadlinesAbility to press and analyze technical and business informationAbility to remain seated for up to 5 hours at a timeFluent English - reading and writing is requiredProfessionalism, integrity, and exceptional attention to detailStrong independent decision-making skills; excellent analytical skills and professional judgmentExcellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skillsMust be able to simultaneously manage several objectivesMust be detail oriented, organized, and self-motivated**Additional Qualifications (preferred)**:3+ years' experience as a quality inspector or technician.3+ years' experience in an aerospace manufacturing facility3+ years' experience in inspection duties, FAI's GD&T, and b/p interpretationProficient with Microsoft Office productsEffective communication skillsDetail orientedAny combination of education and experience may be consideredThe General Vision Acuity Test shall be performed by an Oculist, Optometrist, or other professionally recognized person.The following requirements shall apply.- Near Vision - Eyes meets Orthorater 8 (95% or Jaeger #2 at 12 inches)- Far vision - Eyes meets Orthorater 4 (76%) or Snellen Chart *****- Color Perception - 6 of 9 Orthorater plates US or International citizenship or permanent residence status required depending on work location.Valid Driver's LicenseValid Auto InsuranceWORKING CONDITIONS**Productivity**: Incumbents must perform work in an efficient, effective, and timely manner with mínimal direction.**Mobility**: Incumbents are required to participate in assigned physical activities which may include light lifting and sitting for prolonged periods of time.**Vision**: Vision sufficient to read printed documents, computer screens, and observe behavior of others.**Environment**: Typical office conditions, directly working Quality management team, working with the SMS team, and external customers.**Other Factors**: Typical hours worked are Monday - Friday from 8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.Incumbents may be required to work occasional extended hours and weekend overtime.The employee frequently is required to use hands or finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.The employee is occasionally required to stand; walk (approximately 1-2 miles a day); sit; reach with hands and arms; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.Employee will occasionally drive long distances to and from various suppliers as needed.The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.Specific vision abilities required by this position include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, and the ability to adjust foc
