As an Oracle Cloud Supply Chain Management (SCM) Consultant, you will guide and assist clients through all phases of an Oracle Cloud SCM implementation, drawing on expertise in multiple Oracle Cloud SCM modules. You are expected to have completed three or more end‑to‑end implementations and to identify and apply creative, innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles. Responsibilities • Lead multiple mid to large size and complex consulting projects simultaneously. • Use in‑depth knowledge of the Oracle SCM Applications and industry best practice to consult with clients on cost‑effective solutions. • Work collaboratively with project teams and client employees to develop, test, and implement Oracle Cloud solutions. • Refine customer requirements in detail, document and present to the client for approval. • Identify and apply creative and innovative approaches to resolving product implementation and integration obstacles and problems. • Analyze current systems and data to identify new requirements, recognizing the need for systems enhancements or modifications if necessary. • Develop unit test scripts and coordinate with the client to perform the User Acceptance Testing of the system enhancements or custom solutions. • Work with Oracle to resolve service requests. • Lead and direct the following phases of the system life cycle: gather business requirements through workshops, design, configure and develop solutions, conduct conference room pilots (CRP) and user acceptance testing, prepare for go‑live, support cut‑over, post‑production support, and develop and implement long‑term client strategies. • Act as the primary point of contact for clients, communicating effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle and keeping all parties informed about project progress, challenges, and changes. • Conduct thorough assessments and provide expert advice on technology solutions and tools that can enhance client operations. • Negotiate contracts and agreements, collaborate with third‑party vendors, and offer ongoing technical support after implementation. • Continuously monitor performance of implemented solutions and provide recommendations for upgrades or modifications as needed. Qualifications Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, etc.; MBA, relevant master's degree or PhD preferred. Minimum 10 years’ experience as an Oracle Functional consultant with at least 3 years in implementing or supporting Oracle Cloud projects and upgrades. Experience with one or more of the following modules: Order Management, Inventory Management, Cost Management, Procurement Management, Product Information Management, Manufacturing, Maintenance, Logistics. Strong consulting and business analytical skills to gather and document requirements, lead fit‑gap analysis, design business processes, manage conference room pilots, perform functional configuration, and handle testing of ERP SCM solutions. Proven ability to guide clients through business process improvements, lead teams, work independently, and manage multiple assignments and projects. Excellent interpersonal, organizational, presentation, and communication skills; high commitment to exceed performance expectations; ability to write functional specifications; professional approach when dealing with internal and external customers; maintain a positive attitude under stress; proficient with MS Office applications; willing to travel as needed; valid U.S. visa. Preferred consulting experience in a professional services firm or industry at a strategic level. Previous experience in IT companies; in‑depth knowledge of relevant technologies and systems.
