Bachelor's degree or equivalent- 3+ years of program or project management experienceHave you ever ordered a product on Amazon and when your order arrived, wondered how it got to you so fast?Did you ever think about where it came from and how many systems coordinated to make it happen?If so, the Amazon Global Supply Chain Optimization Technologies (SCOT) might be a fit for you.Our innovations get customers the products they want, at the right price, faster than anyone else.We build the technology that makes the magic of Amazon happen for hundreds of millions of customers around the world.We are looking for a Program Manager (L4) to lead our DF-Mexico Carrier Strategy.This role will lead planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment's country level carrier strategy for Mexico market place, determining carrier selection for MX, carriers to be onboarded and leading the launch and expansion of this new marketplace.AmazonMexicoKey job responsibilitiesWe are looking for a Program Manager (L4) to lead our DF-Mexico Carrier Strategy.This role will lead planning and execution for NA Direct Fulfillment's country level carrier strategy for Mexico market place, carriers to be onboarded and leading the launch and expansion of this new marketplace.- Work with partners in Mexico Supply Chain team to onboard carriers for DF vendors, lead the carrier strategy (3P and 1P Carriers) to align capacity to demand, with respect to origin location, size, special handling requirements, and speed expectations.- Influence the vision, lead the performance metrics for the carriers and transportation Execution and provide visibility to key metrics through regular business reviews with internal stakeholders and Leaders (Weekly, Monthly, Quarterly Business Reviews).- Work with Direct Fulfillment colleagues in Business Development, Account Management, Product, Tech to build processes and tools to enable scalable and flexible operations and drive growth towards program goals.- Measure quality of services (DEA, Speed, Profitability, Volume).Develop mechanisms to provide visibility to performance and hold partners accountable.A day in the lifeThe successful leader in this role will demonstrate the ability to leverage existing products and services while simultaneously exploring new offerings and business models.You will: (1) Engage senior Operations and Retail leaders around a forward-looking strategic aspiration.(2) Explicitly hold the tension between the demands of innovation and the core business.(3) Embrace the ambiguity of multiple agendas in driving expansion, DEA, CX, cost and sourcing strategy.You "Think Big," seeing beyond barriers and challenges to reset the bar.You use business judgement to make the right decisions quickly and achieve results even in the absence of complete data.About the teamThe Amazon SCOT organization is expanding our Direct Fulfillment (DF) team.The Direct Fulfillment channel allows Amazon to fulfill customer orders directly from our vendor's warehouse, and is one of the fastest growing supply channels at Amazon.Through Direct Fulfillment (a.k.a dropship), our team enables broad in-stock selection for Amazon's customers, at the quality and speed of delivery they have come to expect.Mexico City, DIF, MEX- 4+ years of program or project management experience
