Mexicali, MexicoCategoryManufacturingPosted Date06/24/2025Job Id********About Signify**:This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a **Focus Factory Manager** in** CLS Mexicali** with Signify.Through bold discovery and cutting-edge innovation, we lead an industry that is vital for the future of our planet: lighting.Through our leadership in connected lighting and the Internet of Things, we're breaking new ground in data analytics, AI, and smart solutions for homes, offices, cities, and beyond.At Signify, you can shape tomorrow by building on our incredible 125+ year legacy while working toward even bolder sustainability goals.Our culture of continuous learning, creativity, and commitment to diversity and inclusion empowers you to grow your skills and career.Join us, and together, we'll transform our industry, making a lasting difference for brighter lives and a better world.You light the way.**More about the role**:The **Focus Factory Manager** in **CLS Mexicali** is responsible for leading all operations within make to order manufacturing area.This role ensures that safety, quality, delivery, and cost targets are met while driving continuous improvement and fostering a high-performance team culture.- Responsible for managing one or more assigned functional areas to meet objectives in safety, engineering, planning, quality, training, communication, continuous improvement, product delivery, and cost, while fostering a safe, collaborative, and productive work environment.- Leads through the activities of production coordinators or higher-level supervisors in operational areas to meet delivery timelines and production targets, optimizing assembly processes to maximize efficiency and reduce costs.- The Focus Factory Manager is accountable for managing the production unit's budget and controlling operational costs, ensuring the availability of materials, tools, and equipment needed for production, and collaborating with the purchasing department to optimize inventory management.- Works closely with and has high visibility on the production line.- Oversees and ensures that plant production goals are achieved at the lowest cost while maintaining quality, best practices, and safety requirements.- Communicates with other managers regarding the status of production activities and events.- Ensures that production operating manuals are developed and implemented.- Guarantees compliance with all company policies and procedures.- Supervises daily production and assembly processes; ensures all production is completed on time.- Minimizes material loss and resolves production issues.- Investigates internal and external failures in collaboration with the Quality Engineer and takes appropriate corrective actions.- Monitors and ensures that labor hours are maximized and labor dollars are used effectively.- Takes action to ensure that all departments remain clean, safe, clutter-free, and well organized.- Continuously seeks ways to improve ergonomics and safety.- Takes appropriate actions to implement continuous improvement programs and processes with the support of proper management.- Manages personnel administration, including recruitment, time authorization, pre-payroll processing, salary adjustments, terminations, and performance evaluations using the designated systems.- Manages direct labor attrition and absenteeism metrics.- Understands and applies the internal labor regulations as applicable.- Communicates changes and provides appropriate updates to direct reports.- Follows up on EHS-related activities and contributes to achieving environmental, health, and safety goals.- Reports all observed unsafe acts and conditions.- Participates in the employee recognition program.**More about you**While we value and appreciate all applicants, we believe that the following experience and skills will be needed to shine brightly in this job opening:- ** Bachelor's degree completed.**:- ** Insdustrial Engineering background.**:- ** Knowledge and experience with electronic or electrical industrial products.**:- ** More than 5 years of experience in a similar position.**:- ** Knowledge in TPM applied to the manufacturing environment.**:- ** Knowledge of** lean manufacturing processes and systems, also ISO ***** and ISO *****.**:- ** S**trong general management skills in JIT process-based manufacturing (including**team building, cost management, materials, and forecasting).**:- ** Fluent English is MANDATORY.**:- ** SAP knowledge.**:- ** Microsoft Office, especially knowledge of Excel.**:- Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.- Ability to relate from the shop floor to the executive levels.- Alignment with health, safety, and environmental standards.**Everything we'll do for you**:You can grow a lasting career here.We'll encourage you, support you, and challenge you.We'll help you learn and progress in a way that'
