EHS Senior Specialist

Responsibilities
Identify, assess, and control occupational health and safety risks. Ensure compliance with Mexican safety, environmental, and labor regulations (NOM, STPS, SEMARNAT). Implement, maintain, and audit ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018 management systems (ISO 50001 is a plus). Conduct safety gemba walks, risk observations, and follow-up on corrective actions.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analyses, and corrective action plans. Plan and deliver EHS training, including emergency response, safety policies, and best practices. Support customer and governmental audits. Manage EHS documentation, chemical safety systems, waste handling, and environmental permits.
Drive continuous improvement using Lean tools such as Kaizen, 5S, and Behavior-Based Safety (BBS). Collaborate with engineering, maintenance, and production to incorporate safety and environmental requirements into equipment and processes.
Requirements
