Design Engineer (Mechanical proposal)**Mechanical Engineering**- Mechanical Design — Components Manufacture — Fixtures Design — Stations, Conveyors and Brackets Manufacture — Finite Element Analysis (FEA)- 3D Mechanical Concept Modeling — Structural Analysis and Optimization in FEA — Custom Mechanical DesignFull Job DescriptionFives Group is looking for an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer for a direct hire position in Guanajuato area.Position SummaryConceptual and detailed design and engineering of custom equipment, machinery, fixtures, tooling and industrial automation.Complete mechanical aptitude needed to design, build, ship and service products.Job Responsibilities- Provide general design support for all projects as required using Solidworks and AutoCAD 2/3D- Design equipment to meet internal and customer requirements/specifications and key project milestone dates within the quoted budget and scope- May act as Project Manager on certain projects- Add and update items within Bill of Materials in ERP/MRP system- Knowledge of Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) and Site Acceptance Testing (SAT)- Attend and conduct customer design reviews- Assist in compiling documentation- Provide technical assistance to Estimating, Sales, Production and Service, as required- Work collaboratively and communicate effectively in team environment, which may involve Machine (builders), Project Management, Engineering Teams, Management and support functions;- Able to travel as needed- Other job-related duties as assigned**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's in Engineering (Mechanical is preferred)- 3+ years of mechanical design experience- Very strong mechanical aptitude- Experience with Solidworks is ideal, other CAD platforms will also be considered- Prior experience with lean manufacturing or high volume manufacturing is a plus- Ability to work with automated equipment including controls systems (PLCs)Pay: $30,****** - $40,****** per monthAbility to commute/relocate:- Silao, Gto.: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (required)
