Job SummaryTo support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Process Engineering Manager located in Guadalajara, North Site.
The Process Engineering Manager role involves managing a team of process engineers working on improving process engineering capabilities to support a specific area of a manufacturing organization.
What a typical day looks like:
- Manage a team of engineers and technicians to establish and maintain statistical process control systems.
- Establish and improve process capabilities.
- Develop and maintain process documentation.
- Manage development projects that are designed to meet customer product specifications, delivery, and cost expectations.
- Work with other engineering team members to design new products that can be manufactured.
- Improve throughput in constrained areas.
- Develop, test, and implement new materials and processes for improved performance and/or lower cost and manage cost reduction efforts in assigned process areas.
- Coordinate initiatives to increase throughput, reduce cost and improve performance in constrained areas.
- Implement appropriate HR strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.
The experience we're looking to add to our team:
- Bachelor's degree in electronics engineering, mechatronics or related.
- Strong experience in a similar position.
- Advanced English.
- MS Office (Excel, PP).
- Strong knowledge in industrial engineering and project implementation and monitoring.
- Certification: PMP.
- Microsoft Project.
- Line balancing in mechanical assemblies.
- Personnel Management.
- Capacity analysis, time tracking, creation of work instructions, and procedures.
- High-power energy management.
- Core Tools.
- Problem Solving.
- Detail-oriented.
- Teamwork.
- Green Belt/Black Belt certification is required.
- Schedule availability.
- Work under pressure.
