Job PurposeThe University of Scranton's Department of Counseling and Human Services has an ongoing need for highly qualified part-time faculty to staff a variety of courses each semester in the fields of Counseling and Human Services. Adjunct faculty may instruct one or more courses each semester on an "as needed" basis.
Adjunct faculty are expected to teach a specified course(s); prepare course materials; provide support and guidance to students; and report grades.
Additional Skills RequiredMaster's Degree in Counseling or related majors.
Preferred EducationABD or PhD in Counseling or related majors.
Minimum Job Experience RequirementsPrevious teaching experience and a willingness to be flexible in class scheduling.
Preferred QualificationsCertifications related to area of expertise: LPC; NCC; CRC.
