We have an exciting opportunity for an exceptional individual to work supporting one of our clients as an Azure Kubernetes Engineer.

Responsibilities
  1. Solid experience in large scale Kubernetes environments with roles focusing on design, delivery, and operations of at-scale multi-tenant infrastructure.
  2. Managing our Kubernetes Lifecycle: deployments, upgrades, monitoring, and uptime of all K8S clusters on-premises or cloud.
  3. Good understanding of Kubernetes networking, storage, Ingress controllers, and cloud native load balancers.
  4. Infrastructure Automation experience with common platforms and scripting.
  5. Experience with Docker: creating and managing Docker files.
  6. Hands-on experience using source control and feature branching strategies, Rancher, and Istio.
  7. Experience with monitoring, logging, and operations tools such as Elastic and Prometheus.
  8. Strong working experience with Linux Systems Administration and Troubleshooting.
  9. Good understanding of network technologies like DNS, Load Balancing, SSL, TCP/IP, and HTTP.
  10. Experienced with systems roll-outs adhering to change management transitions from project phase to ongoing systems support, and disaster recovery of complex environments.
  11. Ability to quickly prioritize issues/requests and be capable of personally diving deep when required to deliver solutions within an accelerated timeframe, working well under pressure to resolve complex problems.
  12. Excellent communication skills: presenting, listening, informing, and communicating up, down, and across the organization.
Required Skills:
  1. 3+ years of experience with Azure Kubernetes.
  2. Experience with Istio.
  3. Experience with Linux System Administration.
  4. Certifications Required.
