About the role

As a Strategy and M&A Analyst, you will help drive initiatives across long-term strategy, market analysis, go-to-market planning, and M&A ideation and execution. The role requires a combination of data analysis, critical thinking, and robust cross-functional collaboration. You will be working on a lean team, working directly with the SVP Strategy and M&A and Strategy and M&A Lead, and you will have a high level of exposure to senior leaders in Sales, Marketing, Product, and Finance. There will be ample opportunity for career growth.

Responsibilities

  1. Develop a deep understanding of Incode's product portfolio, strategic priorities, competitive positioning, and potential growth opportunities.
  2. Support key short-term and long-term initiatives across product roadmap, go-to-market strategy, partnerships, geographic expansion, and operational efficiency.
  3. Translate data into business insights and action by leading analyses and supporting the development of final recommendations to the senior leadership team.
  4. Provide ongoing updates to senior leadership on strategic priorities, industry trends, product evolution, and customer insights.
  5. Help craft the strategy and M&A narrative within fundraising discussions and board meeting presentations.
  6. Lead M&A market mapping, market sizing, and outbound sourcing workstreams.
  7. Maintain competitive benchmarking and insights.
  8. Evaluate inbound opportunities through the lens of our strategy and product roadmap.
  9. Support execution of ongoing deals, including due diligence and integration planning.

Qualifications

  1. 1-2+ years of work experience in investment banking, private equity, or management consulting.
  2. Experience with SaaS companies and business models.
  3. Capable of working with a high level of autonomy in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines, and prioritizing multiple tasks efficiently.
  4. Strong analytical, modeling, and problem-solving skills along with business acumen.
  5. Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to take complex, ambiguous topics and transform them into compelling narratives for various audiences.
  6. Strong teamwork and cross-functional collaboration skills.
